Saaho First Day Collection Report:- Superstar Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer mega budget action-thriller film Saaho has hit the screens on August 30th and it has taken the worldwide box-office by storm. Despite getting mostly negative response, Saaho minted a worldwide gross of over 100 crores on the opening day. With this, Saaho has also become the second biggest opener in the history of Indian cinema after Baahubali 2. Saaho first day collections are nothing but a reflection of Prabhas’s mega stardom post Baahubali franchise. He has now established himself as a Pan India Superstar.
Released on a massive number of screens across the nation and globe, Saaho collected a whooping worldwide gross of Rs 130 Cr which is next only to Baahubali 2 (213 Cr). The film collected around 25 Cr nett in Hindi version while the all India nett collections stood at humongous 91 Cr. Saaho fared extremely well across the twin Telugu states and the first day combined share of AP/TS was 37 Cr (Nett 48 Cr) with a gross of above 53 Cr. It failed to grab good numbers in Tamilnadu and Kerala where the gross collections stood at Rs 3.9 Cr and Rs 1.3 Cr respectively.
On the other hand, Saaho is recording massive occupancy on second day and the box-office numbers might touch Rs 100 crore mark on day two as well. Now it will be interesting to see where the film goes from here as the word of mouth reports are quite mixed from all over the country.
Directed by Sujeeth and bankrolled by UV Creations, Saaho also features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Murali Sharma and Mandira Bedi in other key roles. The cinematography was handled by R Madhi and Ghibran composed background score for the film. It is the second costliest movie of Indian cinema after Shankar’s 2.0 which was mounted on a mammoth budget of Rs 540 Cr.
